Ashlie John

Ashlie John graduated from SUNY Brockport with a bachelor’s of Social Work in 2019 and a master’s degree in Social Work with a gerontology certificate in 2020. During school she completed internships for Senior Options for Independence at Fairport Baptist Homes and St John’s Nursing Home rehabilitation unit. While going to college Ashlie worked full-time as a caregiver at a group home for older adults with developmental disabilities. Growing up she was close with her grandparents and supported her Aunt in caring for her grandfather with Dementia until he passed away in 2019. Outside of work Ashlie enjoys reading, crocheting, doing crafts, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her family and dogs.
