ALS Overview

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal neurodegenerative disease that affects the muscles in the body and can lead those diagnosed to lose their ability to talk, walk, and eat. In this presentation, join Nancy Wakefield, Director of Care Services at the ALS Association's Greater Sacramento Chapter, to learn more about how to get a diagnosis and what to expect after receiving one.

If you need someone to take care of your loved one in order to participate, respite may be available. Please request it no later than August 3, 2021 by calling Del Oro directly at 916-728-9333.
