Caregiver Survival Training--"Taming Your Anger Monster” VIDEO RELEASE

If you are caring for individuals who are aged, chronically ill or living with a cognitive disorder, the question is not if you will get mad, because you will. The real question is how you will choose to deal with it. We hope you’ll join us to view the release of Elaine’s video, “Taming Your Anger Monster,” on Monday, September 7, and then participate in the live, interactive group discussion on Wednesday, September 9th. This session will help you:

  • Develop an “attitude of creative indifference” toward the people, situations, and events that make you angry

  • Identify how the 3 F’s of Flipping Out––Fatigue, Fear, and Frustration, contribute to caregiver anger

  • Develop strategies for setting boundaries and holding other people accountable for their actions

  • Choose practical, applicable action steps that will help you deal with your feelings of anger
