CARES: Staying Connected as Caregivers

It can be so easy for caregivers to get overwhelmed and exhausted by the many day to day routines that it can be a struggle to meet our own needs. However, the need for connection is a fundamental basic need that we have as human beings, which often falls to the bottom of the barrel when life becomes overwhelming. This presentation will explore the importance of remaining connected with others, the challenges caregivers face to do so, and some ideas for how to overcome these challenges.

If you need someone to take care of your loved one in order to participate, respite may be available. Please request it no later than March 9, 2022 by calling Del Oro directly at 916-728-9333.
